Ampliform

Ampliform is our own product range and an important base product for several of our aluminium systems. We have developed our own completely unique production line for this type of expanded metal.
We can therefore produce strong and light-weight high-quality products such as stairs, railings, walkways and masts for a wide range of applications.

For over 40 years, Normeka has supplied high-quality products for technical solutions within the aircraft industry. In collaboration with Indra Navia, a world-leading player in flight navigation, instruments and landing systems, we have built up expertise and precision to deliver the highest quality at the right time and price worldwide.

Our masts are used for landing systems, landing lights, meteorological equipment, windsocks and other installations that need to be frangible, i.e. break or collapse in case an airplane or another vehicle should collide with the mast.

We use aluminium for everything from small individual products to heavy constructions such as walkways and mast solutions. For over 40 years, we have worked with aluminium, and we intend to continue doing so in the years to come.

Aluminium is a material with great possibilities and is perhaps the most environmentally friendly construction material of all time. Did you know that 75% of all aluminium produced is still in use thanks to the metal’s durability and recyclable properties? At Normeka, we have a strong focus on efficient use of raw materials and recycle all aluminium from the production.

Aluminium has a unique strength-to-weight ratio and has great design flexibility. This makes it a favorite among engineers and architects. Its unique corrosion resistance provides long durability, and it can be surface treated in several ways.

ENVIRONMENT

Normeka focuses on the environment! We are continuously searching for environmentally friendly solutions and follow all current requirements for waste management.
Aluminium production involves a certain amount of residual material, so it is important that all of this is recycled. One of the advantages of aluminium is that it can be recycled endlessly.

Recycling aluminium requires only 5% energy compared to extracting aluminium from bauxite. This means that the amount of energy required to make one kilogram of brand-new aluminium can be used to make 20 kilograms of recycled aluminium.
Aluminium is therefore often referred to as «the green metal».
